Nouvelle formule, même objectif!
Le Match solidarité cancer du Club de hockey L’Océanic de Rimouski, en partenariat avec l’Association du cancer de l’Est du Québec, a été présenté le samedi 18 octobre prochain à 16 h au Colisée Financière Sun Life. Les joueurs de L’Océanic portaient un chandail unique aux couleurs de l’Association lors de cette partie dédiée aux personnes touchées par le cancer.
Nouvelle formule pour le tirage des chandails
En nouveauté cette année, le tirage se faisait à l’Hôtellerie Omer-Brazeau en compagnie du personnel et des joueurs de L’Océanic le mardi 14 octobre. Chaque gagnant a été contacté et a pu assister gratuitement au match du 18 octobre pour ainsi recevoir son chandail directement des mains du joueur après la partie.
La totalité du montant récolté a été versée à l’Association afin d’assurer le maintien et le développement de services visant le mieux-être des personnes touchées par le cancer dans l’Est-du-Québec. Depuis 2021, plus de 32 000 $ ont été réinvestis en ce sens grâce à cette activité.
